SETI@home-MapView, developed by Björn Henke, is a companion visualization tool for the SETI@home distributed computing project. It plots the sky positions of analyzed work units on an interactive star map, letting volunteers see exactly where their computers have contributed listening time. Users can import their own results, highlight personal or team contributions, and view coverage summaries to track progress over time. The map supports zoom and pan, constellation and coordinate overlays, and color-coding to distinguish different result sets. Map images can be exported for sharing or archiving. Lightweight and easy to use, SETI@home-MapView gives SETI@home participants a clear, engaging view of their contributions to the search for extraterrestrial signals.
